How to Use TNPSC Question Bank Search

Basic Search

Simply type a keyword to find questions containing that term:

This will find all questions that include the word "education" anywhere in the text.

Exact Word Match (#)

Add the # symbol before a word to find exact word matches only:

This will find questions with the exact word "Tamil" but not words like "Tamilnadu" or "Tamilian".

Required Terms (&)

Add the & symbol before terms that must be included in the results:

This will only show questions that contain BOTH "education" AND "primary".

Combined Search Examples

You can combine these operators in a single search for more powerful filtering:

Example 1: Tamil Nadu specific questions

Finds questions that mention both "Tamil" and "Nadu"

Example 2: Primary education questions

Finds questions about primary education (not just any education that mentions "primary")

Example 3: Amma Scheme for women

Finds questions that must contain "Amma" and "Scheme" and may contain "women"

Search Tips
  • Keep your search terms simple and relevant
  • Use the & operator for terms that must appear
  • Use the # operator for exact word matches
  • Try different combinations if you don't get the results you expect
  • Search is not case-sensitive - "Tamil" and "tamil" will return the same results
  • For best results, search in English.
